I like to do cross stitches. Unfortunately, I'm really bad with counting patterns, something always goes wrong and I never seem to get the pattern right.
That's why I make large square pieces of embroidery, filled with self-imagined cross stitch patches.
All inspired by my late mother, who first started the concept of Embroidering Large Squares.
These backsides, alway from left-over threads are made with cross-stich, half-cross stitch, star-stitch etc. The quick-and dirty method. They measure about 35 x 35 cm of 40 x 40 cm, depending on the square the needed to be the backside of.
